Dylan Cole is a writer-performer-producer from Melbourne, Australia. At the age of 15 he entered the national comedy competition Class Clowns (as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival) and went on to claim 2nd Place in two National Finals in 2004 & 2006.

 

At university he and friends Stu Daulman, Jade Ludowyke, Drew Drysdale and Jarryd Clifford formed award-winning sketch group Wizard Sandwiches. Cole then went on to write, produce and perform his critically acclaimed solo work in theatres & festivals around the world.

 

Cole is now known for his unique style; a combination of theatre, comedy and fictional storytelling. His writing is often described by critics as "intelligent, witty and poignant"

 

Coles's work Blank Tiles, in which he plays a SCRABBLE World Champion suffering from Alzheimer's disease had sold-out season in the 2017 Adelaide Fringe & Edinburgh Fringe Festival at Assembly and earned multiple 5-star reviews.

His show about hoarding and grief It all sparks joy premiered in the 2019 Melbourne Fringe and went on to play at Gluttony in the 2020 Adelaide Fringe.

His show Case Numbers was nominated for Best Comedy Show at the 2020 Melbourne Fringe and performed at 2022 Adelaide  Fringe and 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

He premiered his most recent show Lonely as part of the 2023 Melbourne Fringe Festival and is currently developing a two-hander play titled Goldilocks
